The PREDICT Prize in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PREDICT Prize) will be presented at the 2018 ACEM Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) being held 18 – 22 November in Perth.
The Paediatric Research in Emergency Medicine Departments International Collaborative (PREDICT), will award $500 cash for the best paper that addresses an important topic in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. Abstracts will be reviewed by the PREDICT panel and the selected abstracts will be advised and adjudicated during the ASM based on selected criteria. Winning candidates will also be sponsored to attend and present their research at the next PREDICT members meeting.
Abstract submissions close on 31/7/2018.
To be eligible for the PREDICT award the following criteria applies:
- Applicants must be trainee, medical student, or from allied health professions at the time of the presentation
Research involves children < 17 years and performed primarily in an emergency department setting in Australia and or New Zealand
