Paediatric Research in Emergency Departments International Collaborative
The PREDICT (Paediatric Research in Emergency Departments International Collaborative) network has established a profile as successful paediatric emergency researchers since 2004 and now provides a research platform for achieving multicentre acute care paediatric research in Australia and New Zealand. As knowledge leaders, PREDICT is also ideally positioned to ensure rapid and successful translation of research outcomes into widespread practice.
PREDICT was recently awarded a Paediatric Emergency Medicine Centre for Research Excellence grant from the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia. The strength of the network is that the research is driven by clinicians who are empowered to drive clinical change, and who are viewed by peers to set the standards for clinical care.
