Charmaine Gray is an advanced trainee in paediatric emergency medicine at the Women and Children’s in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.

Charmaine undertook her post-graduate medical studies in Perth, Western Australia after initially completing her Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology. Following this, she worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne before returning to work in Adelaide. In addition to her clinical work she is currently undertaking a research Masters at Adelaide University, with a focus on research techniques in studies of acute severe paediatric asthma and how to incorporate qualitative work into core outcome sets. She is passionate about teaching and encouraging others to engage in the field of research.
