A/Prof Shane George

Shane is a paediatric emergency and critical care physician at Gold Coast University Hospital, Australia.

Shane undertook specialist training in Brisbane and the Gold Coast in emergency medicine and paediatric intensive care. He is the clinical lead for children’s critical care research for Gold Coast Health and is affiliated with the University of Queensland, Griffith University and Menzies Health Institute Queensland. His research interests include improving the safety of paediatric airway management, haemostatic resuscitation techniques in children and improving early diagnosis and management of infection in children.
