Natalie Phillips is a Paediatric Emergency Physician at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, and current Director of the Paediatric Emergency Research Unit at QCH. Natalie trained in Australia and the United Kingdom and obtained a Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford. She has been an active member of PREDICT for over 10 years and has been involved in the successful execution of a number of PREDICT projects.

Natalie has a strong interest in epidemiology. Current specific research interests are varied and include paediatric cervical spine and head injury, sepsis and fostering local research expertise and experience. She is Co-Chief Investigator for the multicentre SONIC study into the assessment of children presenting with possible cervical spine injuries.
