Dr Elliot Long
Elliot is a paediatric emergency medicine specialist practicing at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.
Elliot undertook his medical training in Victoria, Australia and completed a fellowship in paediatric intensive care at the BC Children’s Hospital, Vancouver, Canada. Elliot recently completed a PhD through the University of Melbourne on the topic of fluid resuscitation for paediatric sepsis, and now supervises several PhD students. He is the Co-ordinating Principal Investigator for the Australian and New Zealand arm of an international paediatric sepsis RCT, and a steering group member of the Australian and New Zealand Emergency Department Airway Registry. His research interests include sepsis, airway management, and trauma.
