A/Professor Emma Tavender

Emma is the Knowledge Translation Co-ordinator for PREDICT and the Emergency Research Group at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Melbourne. Emma’s research is focussed on understanding health professional behaviour and designing and evaluating strategies to improve and sustain evidence-based practice in the emergency department (ED) setting.

As an Editor and review author for the Cochrane Effective Practice and Organisation of Care Group (EPOC) she also has a wealth of knowledge and experience in systematic review methodology, clinical guideline development and undertaking systematic reviews of complex interventions that aim to change health professional and organisational behaviour.
