‘Engaging staff and enhancing recruitment strategies’.

Conducting research in the emergency department is important and necessary to improve emergency care. Research co-ordinators and research nurses are key to successful research. In this session, research nurses and co-ordinators will share their strategies to engage staff and enhance recruitment of participants in emergency research.
Presenters: Dr Sharon O’Brien, Research Nurse Coordinator for the ED at Perth Children’s Hospital, Dr Libby Haskell, Paediatric Emergency Nurse Practitioner from Starship Children’s Hospital and Ms Megan Duck, Emergency Department Nursing Research Coordinator from Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospital.
