This month we introduce Emma Jeffs from The Women’s and Children’s Health Network in Adelaide.
A word from Emma:
“I am employed at the Women’s and Children’s Health Network in Adelaide as an Academic Nurse Researcher. In this role I aim to develop nurse and midwife led research capacity and support qualitative research enquiry. My clinical background and substantive role is as a Paediatric Emergency Nurse. I hope to return to some clinical work soon.
I recently completed my PhD at the University of Melbourne exploring Morbidity and Mortality meetings in paediatric acute care. My research interests include patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, consumer experience of healthcare and healthcare research involving qualitative methodologies.’
