This month we introduce Barbara Zangerl from The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH).
A word from Barbara:
“I am part of the Adult and Children’s Emergency Research (ACER) group at The Prince Charles Hospital emergency department where I work as a Clinical Research Nurse primarily in adult emergency. As part of the team, I coordinate national and international single and multi-site research projects, support a research culture within the emergency department, and liaise with patients. Some of the areas I am currently focusing on is recognition and response to sepsis, delirium screening and early detection, as well as practices around out-of-hospital arrests and arrests in critical care areas. I am driven to utilise these projects to bring evidence based care to the bedside.”
