This month we introduce Ashes Mukherjee from Armadale Hospital.
“I work at Armadale Hospital which is a semi-urban hospital that sees a full range of emergency presentations including paediatrics. As a hospital we are not supported by many subspecialties but have the luxury of having the support of Surgery, Acute Medicine, Paediatrics, O&G and ICU. We cater to a yearly presentation in ED of approximately 60,000 patients.
My research interest lies in the use of echocardiography in emergency medicine as well as the use of regional blocks in EM.”
